Another wonderful dog is moving on! Smokey has been staying with us every day of the week for a long time now, and we've enjoyed every minute. Now he's off to the west coast to find bigger sticks to fetch. Smokey is such an easy going dog and gets along with everyone but our resident squirrel! We'll miss him dearly, so we had another party with pupcakes and everyone was in on the tasting! (Except the cats...sorry guys.)
 Mojo was one of our first true doggie daycare clients along with his buddy, Smokey. They were on a trial to see how doggie daycare worked at our facility as we don't have a lot of demand for that service right now. Happy to say that it was a huge success. They were in the company of humans and other dogs as often as possible and they seemed to really enjoy it here. Unfortunately (and fortunately) Mojo's owner had a job opportunity elsewhere that couldn't be passed up. So, we celebrated Mojo's last day (yesterday) with "pupcakes" and a party! I found a couple recipes online for a gluten free and regular version of dog friendly cupcakes. Mojo took the first cupcake I offered him as quickly and as far away as possible before I could take it away from him. That's a pretty good sign they were edible, right? All the pups at the party enjoyed them, except one pug who looked at me like I was crazy. Otherwise everyone had a great time and we enjoyed Mojo's last day. You can find the pupcake recipes here:  |
